Altered Birdhouse Swap at CCL

Good Morning Ladies!!!

I wanted to share a swap that I was in over at CCL, Creating the Crafty Life.

I had a GREAT Time Altering this Birdhouse for her, she is a fabulous partner. As partners we decided to alter one of the smaller birdhouses that was on a pedestal from Michael's.

Creative Inspirations for June 15th 2013

This Month is about

The Crafters Workshop Templates with a Challenge Red, White and Blue

I created this on a 5x7 Canvas

First I applied Gesso all over the canvas, then sprayed with Lindys using Baby Blue Eyes and Twinkling Tinsel.

Then laid the Mini Reversed Chicken Wire Template and cover with molding paste.

After all was dry the fun begins

Tools of the Trade June 6,2013

I am so glad you are here, we at CCL as so excited that we are able to bring back our "Tools of the Trade" on Thursday. What I want to share is my Big Shot, I Love my Big Shot!!! In my video I share different materials that can be cut with the Big Shot, if some of ya'll don't know what a Big Shot is, it is a manual Die Cutting Machine. There are tons of Die Cut you can purchase on-line and in local craft stores. For me I will never get rid of my Big Shot and some day I would like to get the Big Shot Pro... I have other cutting machines and I like them as well, but for me I think it is much easier to cut chipboard with the Big Shot. MBT Gettin Organized Challenge

Hi ladies! I'm so happy you can join me in our Gettin Organized Challenge!

This month I am working on getting something organized in my craft room.

 My husband built me a new craft room out side next to our home last spring. It is a 10x16 Tuff Shed, he insulted it, sheet rocked and even painted it pink (lol). I have air and heat and even internet.

I had so much crafty stuff piled all around the house he needed to do this for his own safety....

So after my craft room was built I was trying to get all my stuff out of the house so he could have his office back.

 As we were moving things in, all I did was start stuffing my drawers with lace/trim/beads etc. as I was trying somewhat put stuff in place.

Here is a before picture

I am thankful for this challenge because without some organization my stuff would still look like the above picture.

This is the result of a little organization.

Everything that was in that drawer is still in it plus a few extras, I placed all the lace and trim in small plastic bags, coordinated by type of lace and color.

Teach Me Tuesday May 28, 2012

Welcome to another Teach Me Tuesday, brought to you by MBTreasurista.

Today I would like to share how I made this fun and simple flower spray using products from MBTreasurista. I cut about an 8 inch piece of Moss Rustic Wire, curled the bottom of the stem for stability when gluing to your project.

 Then I just wrapped The White Small Pearl Spray around the Moss Rustic Wire . Then added the Candy Gem Spray and continued to wrap.

 I then wrapped the Mulberry Gardenias, Mulberry Cherry Blossoms and the Clear Chinese Bell Acrylic Flowers .

With the product from MBTreasurista I made this simple and Lovely Spray... I hope ya'll like it and will try to create this for yourself...
